Carmine

Carmine is a single pigment, transparent deep red with cool, pinkish undertones. Ours is a modern synthetic version not made from natural cochineal dye, so it has excellent lightfastness. Good alternative to alizarin crimson, as it’s a deep transparent red, but it’s much more pink.
